Post LEDs go off after binding with transmitter
Hello,

Pls excuse my terminology if incorrect.

I wanted to find out what the following means - when i plug the battery, the lights blink fast as they should do while looking for the transmitter.
Then, once the transmitter is detected, the lights stay on without blinking.

The problem i'm having is that the lights switch off completely and no commands are sent to the QS.

This is not the first time i fire it up, i have had a good session yesterday with practicing how to hover and ended up crashing it anyway... but it still flew after that...

I'm guessing that this means the battery is low?
I'm going to charge the battery to see if that has any effect.

Can anyone confirm what does it mean if the LEDs do not stay on.

If the lights never turn on but the QS still flies, then I would guess that the power wires that go to the lights have broken.

khaled,
There could be a couple of things:
1) If the lights blink when you connect the battery, but stop blinking when the Tx is turned on and the motors do not spin when you throttle up.
In this case, just re-power the Lia; the lights turning off is an indicator that the attitude estimate is not satisfactorily aligned.

2) If the lights blink when you connect the battery, but stop blinking when the Tx is turned on and the motors DO spin when you throttle up.
This is quite unusual and is probably indicative of a bad MOSFET on the LED driver board.

3) The lights never turn on.
Probably a bad connection of the LED driver board to the power bus as Chris mentioned. Please check the wires inside and let us know.
