Post Re: Turnigy 9x
The preassembled Quadshot Mochas use a FlySky 6 channel. Funny story though:

We originally were making a PPM adapter board, but a friend had bought the same Rx and found that his output PPM. So we went through about 200 receivers and found a handful that did output PPM. So we contacted Flysky, and it turns out that they had somewhere along the line changed the code, because they didn't think that anyone wanted PPM. So we talked them into taking our receivers back and using the old code, so all of our receivers don't need an adapter. The thing is that I don't know if they did this just for us or if they are still making them with a PPM signal.

Also, the Mochas must be flashed with different baud rates to use the different receivers (dsm v ppm, i believe).

Hey, here's a link to the paparazzi mailing list of someone (maybe even you :o) working on getting the QS working with the 9X/FrSky stuff.
